TV mounting done properly, the first time

A wall-mounted TV should look built-in: perfectly level, tight to the wall, with no cables hanging below it. That’s the standard Expert TV Mounting works to on every install in Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga, Toronto and the rest of the GTA.

Most bad installs fail in the same few places. The mount goes into drywall instead of a stud. The bracket is a few millimetres off level and the whole picture looks crooked. The power cord is fed through the wall in a way the electrical code doesn’t allow. Or the TV ends up so high above the fireplace that everyone watches with their head tilted back.

We avoid all of that by planning the job before we drill. We find the studs or test the masonry, measure your seating distance to set the right height, and choose a fixed, tilting, full-motion or pull-down mount that suits the room. Then we hide the cables, connect your soundbar, streaming box or console, test every input, and leave the room cleaner than we found it.

TV mounting questions, answered

How long does it take to mount a TV?

A standard wall mount on drywall usually takes about an hour. Add time for in-wall wire concealment, a soundbar, a fireplace install or masonry walls. We’ll give you a realistic time window with your quote.

Can you mount a TV on brick, stone or concrete?

Yes. We drill masonry with the correct bits and use sleeve or concrete anchors rated for your TV’s weight. Brick, natural stone, manufactured stone, block and poured concrete each get the right anchors.

Can you hide the wires inside the wall?

In most drywall walls, yes. We use an in-wall power and cable kit designed for this, so the setup stays safe and code-friendly. On brick, concrete or condo walls where in-wall isn’t possible, we use a slim paintable cover instead.

Do you supply the TV mount?

We can. Tell us your TV model and how you want to watch, and we’ll bring a fixed, tilting, full-motion or pull-down fireplace mount that fits. If you already have a mount, we’re happy to install it after checking it’s rated for your TV.

How soon can you mount my TV?

Do you install electric fireplaces and security cameras too?

Yes. We install wall-mounted, recessed and linear electric fireplaces, often with the TV above, plus smart Wi-Fi and wired security cameras and video doorbells.

Yes. Tell us how many TVs and which rooms, and we’ll bring a mount for each and keep the heights consistent through the house.
