Mounting and walls
What types of walls can you mount a TV on?
Drywall on wood or steel studs, brick, block, natural and manufactured stone, poured concrete, tile and lath and plaster. Each needs different hardware, and we bring the right anchors for your wall.
Can you mount a TV where there’s no stud?
Often. On steel studs we use heavy-duty toggle anchors, and on masonry we use sleeve or concrete anchors. If a spot can’t safely hold your TV, we’ll recommend the closest safe position.
What size TV can you mount?
Anything from compact 32″ TVs to 85″ and larger. Large TVs are installed by two people with a mount rated well above the TV’s weight.
How high should my TV be?
Usually with the centre of the screen near seated eye level, roughly 40 to 45 inches from the floor in a typical living room. We adjust for your seating and screen size.
Can you mount a TV on the ceiling?
In houses, yes, into joists. In condos, many ceilings are post-tensioned concrete that can’t be drilled without building approval.
Wires and connections
Can you hide the wires inside the wall?
In most drywall walls, yes, using an in-wall power and cable kit. On brick, concrete or condo walls, we use a slim, paintable cover.
Is it safe to put the TV power cord in the wall?
Not the regular power cord. We use an in-wall power kit made for this, which is the safe, code-friendly way to get power behind the TV.
Do you connect my devices?
Yes. We connect streaming boxes, cable or satellite boxes, consoles and soundbars, and test every input before we leave.
Can you mount my soundbar?
Yes, centred under the TV on a matching bracket, with the cables hidden behind the screen.
Fireplaces and condos
Is it safe to mount a TV above a fireplace?
Often, if the wall above the mantel stays within the TV’s operating temperature and the mount is properly anchored. We check the heat and the wall first.
What if the TV would be too high above the fireplace?
A pull-down mantel mount brings the screen down to eye level when you watch and lifts it back up afterwards.
Do you work in condos?
Yes. We handle concrete and steel-stud walls, follow building rules and permitted hours, and use paintable raceways where opening walls isn’t allowed.
Booking and visits
How do I get a quote?
Send a photo of your wall, your TV size and your city on WhatsApp, call us, or use the booking form. Quotes are free and usually fast during business hours.
Do you show prices on the website?
No, because every wall and setup is different. We give each customer a clear quote before any work starts.
Do you supply the TV mount?
We can supply a fixed, tilting, full-motion or pull-down mount suited to your TV, or install one you already have after checking its rating.
Do you offer same-day or weekend service?
We work 7 days a week including evenings, and often have same-day or next-day availability.
Do I need to be home during the install?
Yes, or have someone over 18 there, so we can confirm the position and height and show you how everything works at the end.
Do you clean up afterwards?
Always. Drop cloths go down first, dust is vacuumed and we take the packaging away with us.
What areas do you serve?
Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Ancaster, Dundas, Waterdown, Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto, Grimsby and nearby communities.
Still have a question?
