A projector can give you a 100-inch picture or more, but only if it’s installed in the right spot. Too far back and the image spills off the screen; slightly off-centre and it turns into a trapezoid. We plan the throw distance, mount the projector solidly and align it so the picture fills the screen perfectly.

Choosing a screen
Fixed-frame screens
Tight, flat surface with a black border for the sharpest picture. Ideal for dedicated theater rooms.
Motorized screens
Drop down at the press of a button and disappear into a housing when you’re done. Great for living rooms and boardrooms where the wall has another use.
Pull-down and tab-tensioned screens
A budget-friendly option that still looks clean when installed straight and level.
Short-throw and ultra-short-throw projectors
Ultra-short-throw projectors sit on a console just inches from the wall. They don’t need a ceiling mount, but they’re very sensitive to wall flatness, so an ambient-light-rejecting screen mounted perfectly flat makes a huge difference. We install those screens too.
Projectors for offices and schools
We install projectors and screens in boardrooms, training rooms, places of worship and classrooms, including HDMI wall plates at the table and wireless presentation options. Commercial work can be scheduled after hours. See also commercial TV mounting.

Projector installation FAQs
Where should my projector be mounted?
It depends on your projector’s throw ratio and the screen size. We calculate the exact distance so the image fills the screen without needing digital keystone, which softens the picture.
Can you hide the projector cables?
Usually, yes. We run power and HDMI through the ceiling to a wall plate near your devices. Where that isn’t possible, we use a paintable raceway.
Do you install motorized screens?
Yes, including wiring the screen to a switch, remote or trigger so it lowers when the projector turns on.
Can you mount a projector on a concrete ceiling?
In houses, yes. In condos, many concrete ceilings are post-tensioned slabs that can’t be drilled without approval, so we’ll recommend a short-throw projector or a wall solution instead.
Do you remove old projectors?
Yes. We can take down an old projector and mount, patch the ceiling holes and install the new one.
